These include material on war training during World War II, the student honor code, and the National Youth Administration. Dean Beaty served as chair of the National College Work Council of the NYA, 1942-1943, chair of the Regional College Work Council, 1941, and director of the Florida NYA, 1936-1937. Later records in this series contain information on student counseling, student unrest in the 1960s, campus crime, substance abuse, student health issues, and minority issues in the files of Dean Lester Leonard Hale and Vice President C. Arthur Sandeen. Also included in this series are records of Hale and Beaty when they served as Dean of Men.
